CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #54 - Oh Man!

Everyone did a fab job on getting punchy last week! This week at CAS-ual Fridays we want to to see your more manly side of card making and make a masculine card using patterned paper :)

Our sponsor this week is the fabulous Gina K. Designs and they were super generous and provided the Girl Fridays with 6 x 6 paper packs, get this, called Casual Friday. I kid you not, that is the name of the paper pad and it is SOOO realistic looking! There's paper in there that looks like real jeans!

I loved the jean paper, so I did I cut out sentiment with the paper showing through and to top it off, I made a patterned star.

The Girl Fridays can't wait to see what you come up with for this challenge, I know for myself, masculine cards are a huge challenge!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Spilling the Beans

Or should I say pouring the beans, in copious amounts into my grinder! It's been a definite java week for me. I've discovered bead weaving and have been up into the wee hours of the morning making bracelets. Fun at the time, not so fun the next day when you go to work :) I have a very easy CAS card to share with you today using Market Street Stamps, that can be easily given a new look just by changing the ink colors!

I used the stamp set Daily Grind, which in my opinion is a must have for all java junkies. Not only are the images cute, but the ideas are endless for cards and gifts for your java junkie friends. I chose three ink colors and stamped the cup in a 5, 4, 3 line and added the sentiment panel with pop dots just for a bit of dimension.

Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic crafty day!

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #53 - Get Punchy

Well that was a flock and a half of feathered friends in the gallery last week, amazing creations! This week it's time to dust off those old punches or keep using that favorite die you have lying around.

We want to see your CAS creations that feature either punches or dies.
Our sponsor this week is the wonderful Lawn Fawn you generously supplied the Girl Fridays with stamps to work with. Be sure to check out the CAS-ual Fridays blog to see what you could win as a prize.

I dug out my very first sizzix die and paired it with the stamp set "Stay Tuned" and here is the card I came up with:

The Girl Fridays can't wait to get a sneak at your punches and dies you'll be showing off on your CAS creations this week!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Market Street Stamps Paint the Town Challenge

May is here and once again it's time for another Paint the Town Challenge with Market Street Stamps! Check out the beautiful challenge photo!

When I saw the Vintage Glass Green color I automatically thought of my collection of sea glass and tried to think of a way to stamp on it, but it didn't work so I went with option number 2, a card :) I've been on a felt kick lately so I incorporated so little felt flowers into my design.

We'd love to have you play along this month and there's always great prizes!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Birds of a Feather

Welcome back crafty peeps to another CAS-ual Fridays challenge! Last week we celebrated the one year anniversary of CAS-ual Fridays and had a fabulous prize package for the winner including the V.I.P.'s.
The challenge this week is all about those cute, feathery friends that all show up in spring...birds!

We want to see your CAS projects that are bird themed. Our sponsor this week is Annabelle Stamps, so be sure to check out the CAS-ual Fridays blog to see what you could win!

I discovered I don't have much in the line of any bird themed product or stamps, so I ended up using the same stamp I used for a card earlier this week. I liked the design I had used for the other card so I recreated it, but changed it up :)

The Girl Fridays can't wait to see what feathery goodness you come up with for this challenge!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAS-ual Fridays!

Wow! I can't believe it's been a whole year since CAS-ual Fridays started! This is a big day! Not only is this the one year anniversary for CAS-ual Fridays, but it's also the debut for our new Girl Fridays, YAY! Do you remember out very first challenge Getting Texty? I found my card from that very first challenge...

And here we are, one year later at 51 challenges! The challenge this week is...

We want to see your CAS projects that are all about birthdays! It's also guest designer challenge this week too.

Our sponsor this week is the amazing Simon Says Stamp and wowza is there a fab prize package and then  some to win. Check out all the deets over at the CAS-ual Fridays blog!

For this week I went for a one layer card with stamping and a little touch of texture using my scor-buddy. I love this card for the sheer fact that I can stick it in an envelope and mail it without having to slap extra postage on it :)

The Girl Fridays can't wait to celebrate with you this week, so come on over to the break room and join in the PAR-TAY!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
